Levelling Out Racism - An International Picnic
A community celebration of resistance to racism and fascism in Brighton. For the last few years, the people of Brighton have stood together against organised fascists, particularly the EDL, who have tried to use St George’s Day with its crusader imagery to promote forms of religious and ‘race’ hatred. We have successfully turned this march away and this year we are holding our own event: An International Picnic, on The Level, 1pm to 4pm Sunday 26th April 201. Summer Gigs
We have some amazing gigs coming up over the summer at The Cowley. On Tuesday 2nd June Blackbird Raum return with their legendary DIY Anarcho-folk-punk from Santa Cruz, California, Facebook event: here. Then in July we're hosting Brighton Equal Fest check out the line-up here.

This event will be exploring the current global threats facing sharks and what we can do to make a difference. It will be the beginnings of a powerful and groundbreaking new campaign in Brighton to condemn the sale and distribution of shark fin there and the miss-labeling of shark in fish and chip shops.
