The club is used for various meetings and events when neither the bar or cafe are open.

Thu 2nd
• 7-9pm: Brighton Greenpeace meeting. In the back building. Every 1st Thur. All welcome.
• 7-8.30pm: A Basque activist speaks about the campaign to stop the High Speed Train and what that means: Destruction, energy waste, money waste, CO2 emisions, Impact on small agriculture and economies etc. This will be followed by the evening meal at 8!
Sat 4th
• 10am onwards: Brighton Free School - day of free practical workshops. first saturday of every month. all materials are provided. With vegan cake and coffee.

Mon 6th
• 6.30pm: Cowley Club General Meeting
Tue 7th
• 7pm, Film: ‘Carefree Vacant Property’. Film about the phenomenon of ‘antisquatting’. Followed by a discussion with the film-maker. Free/donation.
• 7.30pm: South Coast Climate Camp meeting. Every Tue. All welcome.
Mon 25th
• 7pm: Cowley Bookshop talk - Gabriel Kuhn talks about his new book 'Sober Living for the Revolution: Hardcore Punk, Straight Edge and Radical Politics'. Free.

Migrant English Project: Every Monday afternoon. Free English
lessons and drop-in conversation for asylum seekers and refugees.
Information, support and advice. Children welcome.
Welfare Rights Advice: On
Mondays there is welfare rights advice 5pm - 6.15pm. Free and
confidential advice on issues to do with claiming benefits, housing and
work issues.
Cowley Kids Club: Baby/toddler
sessions with activities, tea and coffee and snacks, and loads of fun!
Fridays 10-12am, in the Cowley Meeting House (entrance round the back).
Space is limited so turn up early!
Cowley Meeting House: room
for hire! For: meetings, classes, arts projects, alternative therapies,
children's groups and parties, etc. Room size 6m x 3.5m, use of patio
garden and tea making facilities, on site cafe Tues-Fri 12-4pm,
wheelchair accessible. Cost: Free/donation for grassroots political
campaign groups' meetings and use, minimum £5 per hour for other groups
